Big Bee Festival
Wow, what a weekend we had at our Bohemian event for Swellendam's first ever Big Bee festival! We were very busy bees indeed, but had loads of fun too!
The week leading up to the Big Bee weekend was very stormy, with buckets of rain and a good deal of snow on the Langeberg mountains surrounding Swellendam. We were starting to get worried that our weather spells weren't up to scratch! But Friday and Saturday we had blue skies, sunshine and snow-capped mountains - perfect weather! Moonshadow was buzzing with visitors from all over the place who had lots of fun shopping and exploring our various Bohemian displays and activities.
The Bead Workshop churned out some beautiful sparkly goodies! It was such a hit that we will be offering these workshops on a regular basis, and will add some of our DIY Bead Kits to our Online Shop soon for visitors too far away to pop in for a workshop.
Moonshadow's mini-treatments and Tarot readings were popular with both the local customers and the out of town visitors! Several of Moonshadow's readings are available via Email, Skype, Audio and Video, so contact us if you'd like more information.
Moonshadow's Coffee Shop kept customers happy with butternut soup, chocolate cake, banana-peanut-butter-chocolate cake and berry-nut tart (all vegan and gluten-free!).
TATAMOO's vegan cheese sold out by Saturday afternoon! Not surprising, as Tatamoo's products are absolutely delicious. If you missed your chance to try some, or would like to place your next order, contact Tatamoo to place your order. Customers from Swellendam and surrounds are welcome to arrange to collect their Tatamoo orders from Moonshadow. (We promise not to eat it all, but it won't be easy!)"
Kim Dreyer's beautiful fantasy art and her new Conscious Spirit Oracle Deck flew off the shelves! Some of the Kim Dreyer art will be at Moonshadow's gift shop for the next week or so, so do pop in if you haven't had a chance to see it yet.
Amber Moon had some beautiful decks and Agate clocks on display. Moonshadow couldn't resist keeping some of the clocks for our gift shop. They are really something!
